In a bombshell revelation, senior BJP leader and former Indian minister Subramanian Swamy has acknowledged that Pakistan successfully shot down five Indian jets, exposing what he called the Modi government's cover-up. In an interview, Swamy admitted, “Pakistan’s retaliation was powerful and effective. The jets provided by China to Pakistan performed exceptionally well — far better than France’s Rafale aircraft.” Swamy criticized the Rafale fighter jets, saying they failed to meet the Indian Air Force's expectations.
